I need to spray my zinnia flower with a pest repellant, but I read that overhead spraying will cause mildew.?

How can I keep the bugs away without, getting a nasty, mildew-covered plant?

Go and catch some toads for your garden, they eat bugs for free! You can make your garden toad friendly by adding a toad house and a little water for them. There are a lot of toad houses for sale on the web or make your own with old Terra cot ta pots. Just make a little entrance for the toad and tip the pot upside down and it will provide him shelter.
Reply:Why not use sevin dust?
Reply:Rather than interferring with nature and spraying, why not leave it to the birds to deal with the pests!

It's kinder all round (cheaper too).
