How to Grow Creeping Zinnia (Sanvitalia Procumbens) ?

eHow is always a good source for many items such as planting flowers.

1. Check out nurseries for seedlings, which are easy to find. Starting from seed is a little tricky. Plant seeds 6 to 8 weeks before your region's last frost date.

2. Plant creeping zinnia seedlings in spring after the last frost date. It likes a well-drained spot.

3. Fertilize lightly once or twice during the growing season with a water-soluble fertilizer.

4. Keep the soil only very slightly moist. Creeping zinnias are fairly drought-tolerant.

5. Pull out plants and discard once frost kills them.
